MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines, by means of the Division of Transportation (DOTr) is in search of reelection to the Worldwide Maritime Group (IMO) Council.
In a speech by DOTr secretary Jaime Bautista and delivered by DOTr Undersecretary for Maritime Elmer Sarmiento, the Philippines can obtain extra in its maritime objectives in addition to in defending the welfare of Filipino seafarers as a member within the 40-member council.
